FAQs
Our standard square display plinths have a 30 × 30cm base and are available in three heights:
- 60cm
- 80cm
- 100cm
We also offer a 30 × 30 × 30cm display cube.
Choosing different heights together is a great way to create a layered display for weddings, events, retail displays and exhibitions.
It depends on what you are displaying and the look you want to create.
60cm – Ideal for lower displays, floral arrangements and creating different levels within a larger setup.
80cm – A versatile mid-height option that works well for cakes, flowers, products and event displays.
100cm – Best for creating height and making a product, arrangement or feature piece stand out.
If you're creating a group of plinths, we usually recommend combining 60cm, 80cm and 100cm to create a varied display.
When correctly assembled, our cardboard display plinths are designed to support up to 80kg.
The internal cardboard support structure provides strength while keeping the plinth extremely lightweight.
For best results, place the plinth on a flat, stable surface and position the load centrally and evenly.
Paperspot plinths arrive flat-packed and are designed for simple, tool-free assembly.
The internal cardboard supports are inserted into the plinth to create the structure and strength of the finished display.
We recommend pre-creasing the folds before assembly and, particularly for the larger plinths, having a second person help the first time you put them together.
No.
Paperspot plinths have been designed to assemble without tools.
The flat-packed outer plinth and internal support pieces fit together to create the finished structure.
For repeated professional use, a small amount of thin double-sided tape can be useful in certain situations, but it isn't necessary for normal assembly.
Yes.
Our cardboard plinths can be carefully disassembled, stored flat and used again.
To get the longest life from them:
- Keep them dry.
- Avoid crushing or heavily creasing the panels.
- Store them flat when not in use.
- Take care when removing tape, vinyl or decorations.
They're particularly useful for event businesses that need displays that can be transported and stored between jobs.
Yes.
One of the main advantages of Paperspot plinths is that they arrive flat-packed, rather than as large rigid display columns.
This makes them much easier to:
- Store.
- Transport.
- Carry into venues.
- Take to exhibitions.
- Fit into cars and vans.
They can then be assembled when you reach your venue.
Paperspot plinths are made from cardboard and are primarily intended for dry indoor environments.
They may be suitable for temporary outdoor setups in completely dry and calm conditions, but they are not waterproof and should not be exposed to rain, standing water or prolonged damp conditions.
For outdoor events, always consider the weather and make sure the display is secure and protected.
Yes.
The clean white surface provides a great starting point for weddings, exhibitions, retail displays and branded events.
You can add lightweight decorations such as:
- Flowers.
- Signage.
- Ribbon.
- Lightweight props.
- Removable vinyl graphics.
If you're applying tape, vinyl or adhesive directly to the cardboard, we recommend testing it on an inconspicuous area first, particularly if you plan to reuse the plinth.
The cardboard components are designed with recyclability in mind.
At the end of their usable life, separate any non-cardboard accessories, tape, acrylic components or other materials before recycling the cardboard according to your local recycling guidelines.
We recommend reusing your plinths for as long as possible before recycling them.
